Shirley "Jean" Jackson

Jean was a quiet and gentle mother of two sons and one daughter. She was humble, and with limited resources, she raised her children without asking for the help and assistance she needed. Her pride and determination kept her pushing for a better life for herself and the children.

Jean passed away at the tender age of 35 and did not live to see her beloved children become adults. She never told anyone that she was sick so as not to burden anyone, but faced sickness with the strength that always sustained her. 

Jean will always be cherished by all who knew her. Her story inspired Cookie and Jean to serve as a resource for support without judgment during challenging times.
